Holiday Gift Shop was full of Smiles

The Gift Shop was not only fun but a huge learning experience for the kids. Among the lessons they learned were thinking of others and budgeting. Why you can't buy something for $2.25 when you have only $2 can be very difficult to understand when you are a little kid! Thanks to all the volunteer "elves" who helped with money dilemmas, crowd control and added Christmas cheer!

Last 2 PTO Events of the Year

It was hard wake the kids this morning after a whole week of sleeping in. But there are a few things going on to catch their interest this week-

Tuesday the 2nd is McDonald's Night. I heard a rumor that teachers may be lending a hand at the counter between 6pm-8pm but it hasn't been confirmed.

Wednesday the 3rd through Friday the 5th is our Holiday Gift Shop, where kids can buy inexpensive gifts for their family. Kids LOVED it last year, which was one of the reasons we decided to do it again. However PTO is high on enthusiasm but very low on volunteers. If you can volunteer for an hour or two during the school day, it would help make the event a success. Just send us an email or return the volunteer sheet to school with your student on Monday or Tuesday. Thanks!
