Busy PTO

This Thursday is the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. If you would like to bring a dessert for the teachers, just drop it off at the library before 10:30 on the 24th. Thanks!

PTO is busy until the last few weeks of school- next week is the Carnival and the week after that is the Book Fair and the "Math and Science Roadtrip" Family Night. Mid-May PTO will be selling Pre-Packaged School Supplies. More information is coming your way about these events as they unfold. Don't forget to consider volunteering, we need all the help we can get!

A Texas Tea

One of PTO's most popular events isn't advertised or attended by students. Our Teacher Appreciation Luncheons are for Burks' teachers and staff to show them how much we appreciate all the time, patience and creativity they put in to teaching our children.

Bar-b-que is on the menu for this Spring's Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. Teapots and fresh plants will adorn the tables. Show your child's teacher (or last year's teacher or next year's teacher!) how much you appreciate their hard work by contributing a home-made or bought dessert item to this "Texas Tea." You or your child may drop off goodies at the library on the morning of the luncheon, Thursday, April 24th. Thanks!
